Simón Bolívar
Bolívar was a South American revolutionary leader who earned the title of "El Libertador" for defeating the Spanish in a string of stunning victories from 1813 to 1824, effectively ending Spanish control over what are now Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, and Ecuador.
